Organizataion Head’s Word

Al-Aman Organization for Blind Women Care is a community-based, qualitative and non-profit organization, and it is the first and the only organization in Yemen specialized in the field of care and rehabilitation of the blind.
It was established on 06/06/1999 for the aim of the comprehensively integrating the blind women into society. This was through various educational, health, social and rehabilitative services for each blind woman in the Republic of Yemen provided by a qualified staff, through which the organization was able to excel in many programs and services and achieve a qualitative leap for the blind women.
Despite the current circumstances of the country, these services continued on a wider scale to include the blind in the Republic and the society around them through making partnerships with their associations and centers in various governorates.
The organization main concern has been centered on humanitarian response services to face the urgent and war-related needs.
Obstacles and difficulties are great, but the goal and the message were stronger than any challenge or dilemma.
