Coordinated by AOBWC and sponsored by the Fund for the Care and Rehabilitation of the Disabled, the first Consultation meeting was held today, Tuesday, March 22, 2022, to coordinate efforts of government authorities and organizations of people with disabilities on the funding allocated to the disabled from donors. The meeting discussed the most important issues related to people with disabilities and how to find solutions to them in cooperation With government authorities and authorities concerned. The attendees were received by Ms Sabah Huraish (the Organization Head) and Ms Saba Quhaim (the Organization General Manager).

Judge Mr Abdelwahab Sharaf El-Din – Assistant Undersecretary for Social Affairs and Labor Sector in the Capital Municipality,
Mr. Abdullah Bunyan – Chairman of the National Union of Yemeni Disabled Associations
Mr. Abd al-Salam al-Nawab – Director General of Local Organizations and Partners in the General Secretariat of the Supreme Council (SCMCHA)
Mr. Abdullah Abu Talib – Director General of Displacement and Emergencies at the Supreme Council (SCMCHA)
Mr. Ahmed Al-Asoudi – General Director of Social Coordination in the Capital Municipality
Mr. Rasheed Mofaddal – General Manager of the Supreme Council Branch (SCMCHA) in the Secretariat
Mr. Muhammad Abu Areej – General Director of Centers and Houses in the Capital Municipality
Mr. Jamal Al-Rajawi – Disabled Fund Advisor
Mr. Hassan Ardom – Director of Relations and Media at the Fund for the Disabled
Mr. Hani Fahem – Director of General Relations at the Supreme Council Branch in the Municipality.

Several recommendations came out of the meeting that focused on achieving the general goal of the meeting and intensifying efforts of all the concerned authorities to implement the goal on the ground.
