On Sunday, December 19, 2021, AOBWC received Mr. Saleh Al-Nasiri, Head of the Association of the Care and Rehabilitation of the Blind in the Shabwa Governorate, who visited AOBWC headquarters with the aim of honoring the Organization’s management in appreciation for the efforts it made to rehabilitate the Association in Shabwa, as AOBWC had implemented a training course for the teachers of the Association in the field of teaching Braille for the blind from August 29 to September 9, 2021.
As training and rehabilitating civil society associations and organizations in the areas of providing services to people with disabilities is one of the most important goals and strategic plans that AOBWC seeks to implement.
