On the occasion of the International Volunteer Day, which falls on the 5th of December of each year, the Cultural Center for the Blind at Sana’a University implemented on 5/12/2019, an event to honor the Eye of the Blind Team ” the Voluntary team of the Center”. The event started with verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the national anthem.

Then Mr. Mutahar Aqeeda, the Center Manager, gave a word in which he welcomed the present and praised the role of their important and positive role in supporting their blind mates.

Ms. Donia Al-Absi, the Center Secretary, also gave a word to thank the Eye of the Blind Team members and clarify the importance and necessity of their work for all the blind.

The event also included a review of some models of the team members who have a long career in voluntary work in the center, so that new members can get benefit from their experience.

And finally, Mr. Mutahar Aqeeda and Ms. Donia Al-Absi honored the Eye of the Blind Team members and other characters who provide help to their blind mates in and outside the university.
