Under the slogan “New Year and Increased Motivation”, the Cultural Center for the Blind at Sana’a University performed on Tuesday, 18/6/2019 an event for receiving the new students enrolled in the university for the academic year 2020-2019. The event began with a welcoming speech by Dr Motthar Aqeeda, the Director of the Center, who welcomed the students and urged them to receive the new year with more hardworking and high motivation. On the other hand, Ms. Douna Al-Absi, Secretary of the Center, gave a word in which she introduced the cultural center to the students and its role in providing services to university blind students, and what colleges and sections that allow the blind to join them. This event included also a course on how to choose the university specialties.
