Competition for 9th Grade Students
The administration of Integration Program in AOBWC organized a competition for the 9th grade between the blind students integrated in 6 schools and Ammar Bin Yasser School students who can see. The organization was warmly welcomed by the management of the school represented by the school manager, MS. Afaf Al-Sayagi.
The competition questions were prepared by a group of mentors in the Guidance Sector of the Ministry of Education who also judged the competition.
The competition was characterized by quiet and discipline, and the questions of the competition were balanced and objective. Also, some problems were revealed for the mentors through their direct dealing with the blind female students that will be taken into account in preparing the exam questions for basic and secondary education.
The competition ended with the female blind students’ winning. They got 54.5 out of 60, while the other team (Ammar bin Yasser School) got 49 out of 60.
