The AOBWC participated in the first forum of the blind that was organized by the National Union of the Blind in the Republic of Sudan and the Arabic Union of the Blind. Also it participated in the annual meeting of the Administrative Union Commission. Marwa Al- Habari, a member of the Administrative Union Commission.

The forum started with an opening event promoted by the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Sudan. A group of officials attended the forum, including Minister of Security and Social Development, Widad Yaqoob. On the same day, the organization paper, which was entitled “Teaching the Blind is a Quality and Leadership” was presented among 4 papers that were presented during the event 3 days.

The forum included different awareness programs, working visits, and leisure trips. The AOBWC expressed many thanks for the outstanding welcome and hospitality provided by the event organizers in Brotherly Sudan and the Arabic Union of the Blind.
