Distributing Recording Devices for the New Students

For the second day in a row, the Cultural Center for the Blind at Sana’a University, supported and funded by AOBWC, distributed recording devices for the new blind students enrolled in the year 2018-2017. 39 male and female students were targeted to be equipped with a multi-service device to enable them to record curricula, and scientific lectures easily.

Knowing that the blind student in the Yemeni universities depends completely on the audio recordings because of the lack of materials and curricula in Word files to be printed in Braille that is used by the blind in reading and writing. Therefore, this device is considered very valuable for the blind students, for it is the best way for them to memorize lessons and study.
