Introductory Workshop on the Team of the Project of Enhancing Protection Services
Funded by the Office of the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), AOBWC in Yemen started an introductory workshop on the team of the project of Enhancing Protection Services for the most vulnerable IDPs and host communities in Al-Qaeda city, Dhi Sufal district, Ibb governorate, that will last from 6/1 to 11/1/2018. The workshop aims at capacity building of the team that will implement the project.
The workshop was opened on the first day with the team members getting to know each other and discuss the workshop expectations and objectives. The workshop was organized by Ms. Fatima Kayal, Protection and Gender Trainer, who explained protection and gender principles, humanitarian work standards (Sphere standards), how to deal with the beneficiary (IDPs and the host society), community participation, and social services.
And the workshop was visited by Mr. Adeeb Abdu Qaid Al-Hashadi, a representative from the Operational Unit for IDPs, who praised the role of AOBWC and the work team and stressed the importance of the work they are going to start soon.
