Educational and Recreational Trips for the Students of the Martyr Fadhl Al-Halali School for Blind Girls
The Martyr Fadhl Al-Hallali School carried out four trips for the students of the School during the first term of this year. The first trip was an educational trip on November, 6th for the first and second graders to Ali Mohsen Market to teach them about the different types of fruits and vegetables and make them get familiar with the public markets.
The second was an educational trip on November, 9th for the third graders to the dental clinic at Al-Muttahedoon Hospital to learn about the importance of teeth, how to maintain them, the correct methods of cleaning teeth, and the ways of protecting them, and know the medical tools used by the dentists and their uniform.
The third trip was a recreational trip carried out in partnership with Al-Aman Center for Community Training and Rehabilitation to Althawra Park for all the blind students.
And the fourth was an educational trip for the fourth and fifth graders to Arab Mall to train them to use the white cane for walking in the public places and break the fear barrier among students, and also to educate the community about the importance of the white cane for the blind.
