Two Trips for the Art of Orientation and Mobility (O&M) and Visually Impaired Students
The Martyr Fadhl Al-Halali School for Blind Girls carried out two educational trips. The first trip targeted 22 second and third-graders of the art of Orientation and Mobility (O&M), who are completely blind students, and it was to one of the areas near the school. It began with breakfast and then students with their teachers started to identify that mountainous area and its nature.
The second trip was for students with visual impairments. And it was to a supermarket in order to teach the students the different types of vegetables and fruits, shopping, and buying and selling. The trip targeted 15 students from the second and third grades.
Programs of the Art of Movement and the Visually Impaired are considered to be part of the programs associated with the education of the blind, which received great interest from the educational facilities of AOBWC.
