The Institute has offered its services up to the moment to:
Objectives
- Enabling blind women to exercise their education right
- Instilling confidence and full self-dependence in them
- Raising their scientific, psychological, social and health level
- Providing family guidance for the blind students families and educating them on how to care and deal with their children
Target Group
Blind girls aged 7 years and over
Capacity
The institute capacity is 100 students annually
Admission Requirements
- Student should not be younger than 6 years old
- Student should have blindness disability only
- Student should pass the personal interview conducted by the registration and admission committee
- The registration file should be complete containing: registration form, birth certificate, medical report stating the level of disability, eight personal photos, health card, father’s ID.
Activities
- Conducting educational and recreational trips
- Conducting curricular and cultural, internal and external competitions
- Making crafts and handmade items (by students)
- Implementing internal events and participating in external ones
