Objectives
- Preparing blind children before enrolling to regular education.
- Activating the senses functions to build confidence of children and their abilities.
Learning Through Play
Children are qualified and taught the important skills that they need to master, such as the skills related to their living style, and concepts and expressions of environment, time and place. This is done through:
- Teaching through embossed font (Braille)
- Teaching children how to make simple calculation equations (counting, addition, subtracting) by using hands, cubes, sweets, etc.
- Teaching through objects to recognize the parts of body and things available in the environment
- Teaching through games
- Teaching through movement to walk safely and independently
- Multiple teaching methods to develop the senses, such as beading, and ordering cubes, etc.
Kindergarten Absorptive Capacity Annually:
- Al-Noor Kindergarten absorptive capacity is 15 child
- Dhia Kindergarten absorptive capacity is 30 child
Target Group:
All blind children from 4 to 6 years old (males and females)
